ASK!
I came out of school with great ideas in my mind on how to change the world, but the experience has taught me that, we can't change the world with only ideas in our minds. We need conviction in our hearts. This experience has taught me how to stay hopeful. Because now I know hope is a mess, Is the true enemy of Justice.
Hope allows us to push forward even when the truth is destroyed by the people with power, it allows us to stand up when they tell us to sit down and to speak when they say be quiet. Hope keeps us alive and faithful to ourselves even in the dark hours and days of our lives. Hope empowers us even when we are oppressed and have no way out. Hope gives us a second chance to see tomorrow. Hope reminds us of who we are, and what truly, we have to offer to the world. Because the greatest human ACT is to INSPIRE people and the communities we come from and Hope helps us to do exactly that.
Hope, strengthens us to stand up for our rights and face the small and big demons of our lives and the communities we live in. It's hope that wears the brave men and women to oppose governments that abuse human rights and advocate for Justice for ALL.
Ask yourself, what do you need to change the situation around you? Are you where you need to be now? OR? If we can look at ourselves closely, and honestly, I believe we will see, we all need Justice. We all need Mercy, and perhaps we all need some measure of GRACE.
